Sol Ruca Shows Brutal Head Staples After Nasty WWE Table Spot

Sol Ruca is dealing with the fallout from a scary in-ring accident. Her last match against Zaria at WWE NXT Revenge ended with a high fall on tables, and it already looked brutal. Now, Ruca shared a photo showing staples in her head to show how dangerous the spot was.

The incident happened in the main event of the April 21 episode of NXT, where Ruca faced Zaria in a Last Woman Standing match. The match told an intense story because of their past issues, but things got much worse near the end.

Both wrestlers ended up fighting on top of a balcony platform, with two tables set up below. At one point, Zaria was about to fall, but Ruca pulled her back, showing there were still some emotions left between them. The two even shared a hug after that, and it seemed like they might patch things up.

But Zaria suddenly turned on Ruca again and pushed Ruca off the platform. The move was meant to be a big finishing moment, but it didn’t go as planned.

Instead of landing cleanly through both tables, Ruca missed one and hit the edge of it with the back of her head before crashing through the other. Ruca couldn’t get up before the referee’s ten-count, so Zaria won the match.

Sol Ruca left with head staples following a brutal WWE spot

Now, Ruca posted a close-up photo of her injury on Instagram. It showed a deep cut on the back of her head that needed several staples to close. It was similar to Drew McIntyre’s injury after his brutal Hell in a Cell match against CM Punk at WWE Bad Blood in October 2024.

Right now, there is no official update on whether Ruca will need time off. But looking at the injury, she might not appear on WWE TV for a couple of weeks.

That’s tough timing for her. Just a day earlier, Ruca had made her WWE RAW debut, where she confronted the Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan. They later had a match, which Morgan won after interference from Zaria.

The next few days will be important to see how serious the injury is and how soon she can return to the fold.
