WWE is continuing to push Sol Ruca as a rising star, and she is now set for her official contract signing on RAW. The announcement was made on the April 27, 2026, episode of RAW, confirming that her move from NXT to the main roster will become official in front of fans in Omaha.
Ruca has been building momentum for a while. During her time in NXT, she became known for her athletic style. Her finishing move, the “Sol Snatcher,” also went viral.
Ruca became a double champion, holding both the NXT Women’s North American Championship and the WWE Women’s Speed Championship. She was also named Female Superstar of the Year in 2025. She proved herself in the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble, as she lasted over 50 minutes and made it to the final three.
Sol Ruca to officially sign main roster deal on next week’s RAW
Ruca will sign the contract on the upcoming May 4 episode of WWE RAW.
This contract signing comes just two weeks after Ruca made her surprise debut on RAW following WrestleMania 42. She confronted the new Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan and later faced her in a match. Ruca won the crowd with her skills, but the match didn’t go her way as her former partner, Zaria, made sure to influence the proceedings.
That moment added more heat to Ruca and Zaria’s already bitter rivalry. The two faced each other again on NXT in a brutal Last Woman Standing match, which also ended up being Ruca’s farewell match in the brand.
At the end of the match, Zaria acted like she was making peace, only to betray Ruca again. She pushed Ruca off a high platform, sending her crashing through tables. Later, Ruca showed off the stitches she got on the back of her head on Instagram.
Luckily, Ruca avoided serious injury. That allowed WWE to move forward with their plans for her, leading to the upcoming contract signing on RAW.
