Thursday’s reports indicate that Leonardo Spinazzola is increasingly likely to leave Napoli once his contract expires at the end of the season, which could leave him available on a free transfer for either Juventus or Milan.
Could Spinazzola leave Napoli for Milan or Juventus?
Italy international Spinazzola is into the final few months of his contract with the Partenopei, officially expiring on June 30. The 33-year-old is coming to the end of a two-year contract he signed after leaving Roma on a free in the summer of 2024.
Napoli have reportedly explored options regarding an extension of the left-back’s contracts, however, according to updates from Matteo Moretto on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, a final decision has not yet been made and as things stand, talks are at a standstill.
TMW adds that part of the reason behind the standstill in negotiations between Spinazzola and Napoli are due to uncertainties over who will be the head coach of the club next season.
That is because Antonio Conte remains linked with a potential return to the Italy national team set-up to replace Gennaro Gattuso as CT.

The situation means that Spinazzola is increasingly likely to leave Napoli at the end of the season, which could open a potential move to either Milan or Juventus.
Recent reports claim that Juventus could turn to both Spinazzola and Atalanta’s Lorenzo Bernasconi in the event that Andrea Cambiaso leaves the club during the summer transfer window.
Milan, meanwhile, could look to move on Pervis Estupinan after a disappointing start to life in San Siro and could turn to the experienced Spinazzola to provide cover and competition for the young Davide Bartesaghi.
