Cody Rhodes and Gunther aren’t done yet, as Rhodes will once again defend the Undisputed WWE Title against the Ring General on the June 19th edition of SmackDown.

After Gunther interrupted the June 5 episode of SmackDown and demanded justice over the controversial finish at Clash in Italy, things quickly got heated with Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn also getting involved.

Later in the night, Cody met Nick Aldis backstage and got a major update. Aldis told him that Gunther will announce the stipulation for their rematch on the June 12 episode of SmackDown. Cody then revealed that the match itself will happen on the June 19 edition of SmackDown in Kansas City.

Gunther spent the opening segment claiming Cody cheated him at Clash in Italy because his foot was under the rope before the referee counted three. Cody admitted Gunther was right about the foot being under the rope, but said controversial finishes happen and offered to fight him right away.

Sami Zayn then came out and accused both Cody and Gunther of doing him wrong as well, leading to a tense exchange before Gunther attacked. Cody tried to dive onto Gunther, but Gunther moved and Cody accidentally wiped out Sami instead.

Now, Cody Rhodes and Gunther are officially on a collision course again. With Gunther getting to name the stipulation next week, Cody may be walking into a very dangerous title rematch in Kansas City.

What do you think Gunther’s stipulation will be for his rematch with Cody Rhodes? Please share your thoughts and feedback below.
