The draw for the Round of 32 took place at the end of the second session on Day Six once the action had concluded.
Delivered live from the stage at the OVO Arena Wembley, the 24 qualifying nations from Stage 1B joined the eight nations from the Stage 1A seeding round in the draw.
England Women and Men will both play on Monday 4 May, with the women’s team in the first session at 12:30 (Table 3) of the day against Ukraine and the men’s team in the second session at 17:00 (Table 2) against Moldova.
Ukraine qualified for Stage 2 directly thanks to their position as one of the highest performing second-placed teams from Stage 1B. They earned this with a 3-0 win over Rwanda and a 3-0 walkover win against Uganda, and a 3-2 defeat to group winners India.
Moldova finished second in their group thanks to a 3-1 victory over Chile, a 3-0 win over Tahiti and a 3-2 defeat to Poland. This then saw them require a 3-2 Preliminary Round victory of Greece to reach Stage 2.
The Moldovan team (above) will be looking to bring disappointment to the home nation’s men’s team, with Veronika Matiunina (below) a dangerous weapon for Ukraine when they line up against England Women.

The Round of 32 will take place on Monday 4 and Tuesday 5 May from OVO Arena Wembley, with the Finals taking place on Sunday 10 May from the same venue.
