Paradox has laid out a fresh timeline update for Surviving Mars: Relaunched Feed the Future content pack, with a delay to its release and changes to its structure.
The company put out a lengthy update on the game’s Steam page to address the situation and lay out details of what to expect in the future for the colony sim.
Surviving Mars: relaunched was met with a pretty mixed reception at launch in November 2025, and the developer has been tweaking it with updates ever since to create the game that it feels fans deserve.
Surviving Mars: Relaunched Feeds the Future Later Than Planned
That has ultimately affected its plans for the Feed the Future content pack, which had been due to launch in Q2 2026. Now it will be coming in Q3, 2026.
‘’As a result, after many discussions, we are shifting the Feeding the Future content pack release to Q3 instead of Q2, which will let us stay focused on development and make sure that we provide a good experience for you. It was a hard decision to make, but we’re confident it was the right call — and now we’re fully focused on making Feeding the Future something you’ll truly love.’’

It’s good to see Paradox commit to making Surviving Mars: Relaunched better after a poor launch. There has been much criticism about this re-release of the original Surviving Mars due to myriad bugs, crashes, and general QoL deficiencies.
Players had hoped it would improve on the issues of the original, but for many, there were greater issues with Relaunched.
