Tasha Steelz just confirmed that she is staying with TNA, and now she’s explaining why she made that decision in the first place.
TNA already confirmed on June 16 that Steelz re-signed with the company, keeping the former Knockouts World Champion in-house. Now, while speaking to Denise Salcedo, Steelz made it clear this wasn’t just a business move. For her, it came down to loyalty. Steelz said she had to think about the decision, but not for long. After about 48 hours, she knew she couldn’t walk away from the Knockouts division that helped shape her career.
“Yes, mother will be sticking around with TNA. Yes, I have resigned and like I said, my work is not done. We have a lot more to do.”
Then Tasha Steelz explained why staying mattered so much. She said the Knockouts division has been there for her from day one, and she couldn’t turn her back on the women who helped her along the way.
“You know, it I had to think about it for it took me I I would say a good 48 hours to think about it. You know, I I’m one thing about me is I’m a loyal girl and I like to stay loyal and I know that this Knockouts division from day one has helped me and a lot of women in the division has helped me and there’s no way I can turn my back on these ladies. So, I have to stick around. I have to stay. I love my ladies very much.”
That is a big keep for TNA. Steelz is a former Knockouts World Champion, a two-time Knockouts World Tag Team Champion, and someone who can still be moved into something meaningful whenever the company needs her.
She first broke into wrestling in 2016 and joined TNA in 2019. Since then, she has built a real spot for herself in the Knockouts division. She can talk, she can get heat, and she already has enough history where TNA does not need to reintroduce her to fans.
Bottom line, Tasha Steelz isn’t leaving because she still feels connected to TNA and the Knockouts division. She says her work is not done, and now that she’s locked in with a new deal, the question is what TNA does with her next.
