TNA has confirmed that Tasha Steelz has officially re-signed with the company, solidifying her place in the Knockouts division moving forward.
The announcement also confirmed that Steelz will be part of TNA Slammiversary 2026, which is scheduled for June 28 at the Agganis Arena in Boston.
Steelz Reflects on Decision to Stay with TNA
The company stated, “TNA Wrestling confirmed today that it has re-signed Tasha Steelz, as first reported by Instinct Culture.” The release highlighted her accomplishments, noting her role within Order 4 and her history as a former Knockouts World Champion and two-time Knockouts World Tag Team Champion.
Steelz first debuted in 2016 and joined TNA in 2019, where she quickly became a key figure in the Knockouts division. Her initial run ended in 2022, but she returned shortly after and has remained active on the roster. Her most recent match took place on June 6 against Harley Hudson.
In an interview with Denise Salcedo, Steelz revealed that she carefully considered her decision before committing to a new deal. “I had to think about it, it took me, I would say a good 48 hours to think about it. One thing about me is I’m a loyal girl and I like to stay loyal and I know that this Knockouts division from day one has helped me and a lot of women in the division has helped me and there’s no way I can turn my back on these ladies. So, I have to stick around.”
Growth as a Singles Competitor
Steelz also reflected on a pivotal moment in her career, which came after her tag team with Kiera Hogan came to an end. “I would have to say me branching out on my own because it was when I was with Kiera and we were tag team champions and at a time she wasn’t sure whether she was going to stay or go. I didn’t think about ‘Hey what will happen if I am by myself’. I would just I’m thinking like ‘Hey listen we’re gonna be together and she’s gonna stick around’ but when it actually happened that I had to go out there and go in the deep end it was like I can’t just be another name on the roster.”
She continued, “So I had to get on there and I had to go in the race of being on my own. And I think just being the Knockouts Champion, even though it was a short tim, I felt like it was one a good era for me because it was a lot of a proven ground, not just having the title, but actually being able to get in the ring with the greatest women that have come through TNA.”
Looking ahead, Steelz made it clear she is focused on building more moments in the company. “I’ll have some more moments now that I’m sticking around with TNA. I’ll have some more moments to accomplish.”
With her new deal in place, Steelz remains an important part of TNA’s women’s division as the company heads toward one of its biggest events of the year.
