The May 30 episode of AEW Collision has provided some matches for next week’s show.
Hazuki made her AEW debut on Saturday as she defeated Maya World. Persephone was on commentary and is the opponent for Hazuki in a first round match for this year’s Owen Cup.
The final moments of the match had Maya miss off of a moonsault. Hazuki took advantage with a lung blower, followed by a senton for the pin. Persephone joined Hazuki in the ring to confront her face-to-face.
By the time Hazuki and Persephone get in the ring next Saturday, they will know their opponent for the semi-finals. It will be the winner between Alex Windsor and a Wildcard entrant that takes place this Wednesday on Dynamite.
Elsewhere on Collision, the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions, the Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross), faced TayJay (Tay Melo and Anna Jay) in a five minute eliminator match. If TayJay won, they’d earn a title match.
The challengers win based on a time limit. The title match will take place next week, June 6, on Collision.
