Ollie Bearman’s Mind Coach: How I Coach F1 Drivers and Why Ollie Made it to F1 | Enzo Mucci
Enzo Mucci was one of the first guests on the Backseat Drivers podcast “and is still, to this date, one of our best episodes but this was before his drivers, Liam Lawson and Oliver Bearman reached the heights of Formula 1. Enzo is a successful Performance Mind Coach and Life Coach, a lot of Enzo’s time is spent with Ollie Bearman as his Mind Coach with the aim of maximising his on-track performance and managing the crazy ups, downs and pressure that comes with being a Formula 1 Driver. The Importance of Testing and Developing Your Racecraft: How I Race with Martinius Stenshorne
Martinius Stenshorne is the next member of the F2 grid to take readers into the cockpit in the latest edition of How I Race on the Formula 2 website. The Rodin Motorsport driver opens up about the origin of his driving style, how important testing and the simulator are for his adaptation and much more.
“First of all, I’m not a big fan of understeer. I would say I like the car to have quite a good front end, especially in the mid-corner. Apart from that, I think you cannot have a car that is too much in that one direction as well, so it’s about finding the right balance. But for sure, if anything, I like the car to be a bit more loose in the rear than having too much understeer.”

Why Motorsport Fitness is Different
Motorsport fitness isn’t just about being “fit”… it’s about performing when everything is on the line. From reaction time and mental sharpness to neck strength and endurance under pressure, drivers train for conditions most people will never experience. Every movement, every decision, every second matters.
This is why training has to be specific. Intentional. Built for performance. If you’re serious about improving as a driver, your training needs to reflect that and you can find out more in Alison Berrisford Performance coaching’s Instagram post here.
