Jessica McKay and Cassie Lee are back together as The IInspiration for AEW Forbidden Door weekend, but they won’t be wrestling this time around.
McKay announced that The IInspiration will host the live fan chat for the AEW pay-per-view on PPV.com this Sunday.
“The IInspiration are going to be your chat hosts on @ppv_com this Sunday for @AEW Forbidden Door!!”
That gives fans another way to see McKay and Lee involved with AEW after making their debut for the company earlier this year. The two showed up at AEW’s Brisbane, Australia house show on February 15 and revealed they had signed with the promotion. They later made their AEW television debut on the March 4 episode of Dynamite, where they faced The Brawling Birds.
AEW Forbidden Door takes place June 28 at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. The card includes Will Ospreay vs. Swerve Strickland, Mercedes Moné vs. Maya World, Kenny Omega vs. Zack Sabre Jr., and Team Briscoe vs. The Don Callis Family in a Steel Cage match.
The IInspiration may not be booked for a match, but AEW still found a spot for them on Forbidden Door weekend. McKay and Lee have plenty of personality, so putting them in the live fan chat is a pretty easy call.
