The match ended Newcastle 3 West Ham 1 at St James’ Park.
The photo that Newcastle United fans had all wanted to see on Sunday night now belatedly going public from the club.
Eddie Howe leading his team to a win over the Hammers in the final home match of the season.
Not so great news for the visitors who now see their hopes of survival hanging by a thread.
The best things in life are worth waiting for…
A winning snapshot post-match.
This time one with a bit of a difference.

The photo taken on the pitch rather than in the dressing room as is usually the case. Plus families joining the players and staff.
The all important winning photo = The twenty-fourth of the season.
It is actually the 25th victory of the season but they didn’t have a winning photo after Qarabag away, as the play-off tie was only halfway through.
The Newcastle United Head Coach introduced this tradition of a post-match everybody included photo following each victory, as he felt it had worked as a bonding exercise when he was at Bournemouth.
It is also a massive bonus just how much it winds up fans of certain other clubs and journalists.
‘Look at them, think they have won the Premier League / Champions League… etc etc’
I absolutely love it.
Why not celebrate every match that Newcastle United win? Especially when the best part of 50,000 NUFC fans have put money and effort into getting along to St James’ Park to support the team.
Just the one more game to go this season, so hopefully NUFC can make it 26 wins for the season at Craven Cottage and a 25th winning photo to end the campaign.
