The St. Louis Blues are ready to be active if called upon

Jeremy Rutherford: Current St. Louis Blues GM Doug Armstrong said that he, and next GM Alex Steen will be as active as they can and will depend on who wants to work with them:

“I can certainly see a path where we pick 11, 15, 29 and we get to July with the same team. Maybe you get to mid-July, where teams missed on free agency and then Alex has to decide what to do on trades, and then he and I will work on that. But Alex and I are planning to be as active as other people around us want to be.”

Untapped potential and contracts that teams may want to shed – Players the New York Rangers could consider

Peter Baugh and Vincent Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic: The New York Rangers are looking to be active this offseason, with some sources thinking GM Chris Drury will be looking to take a big swing. The free agent market doesn’t have much, so he’ll be looking at the trade market.

The Rangers could be looking to restock their asset pool and bring in some younger, skilled guys with some speed.
