Tiffany Stratton didn’t get to compete at WrestleMania 42 last week—but she made it clear she’s not letting that define her.
Stratton spoke with Joey Karni about missing out on WWE’s biggest show of the year. Stratton’s comments made it clear the situation was on her mind—and already fueling her approach moving forward.
“I feel like my mindset has always been just kind of controlling what I can control, which is making the most out of all my segments, making the most out of my matches, making sure I’m delivering on everything and having really good matches with everybody.”
She didn’t deny the disappointment either. Being left off WrestleMania 42 wasn’t part of the plan—but she’s already using it as motivation.
“And unfortunately, being on WrestleMania wasn’t in the cards for me this year. However, that just kind of leaves me with a chip on my shoulder for next year, and I’m going to do everything in my power to never let that happen ever again.”
That mindset paid off fast. On the April 24 episode of SmackDown, Stratton stepped into a Women’s United States Championship match against Giulia and capitalized. After a competitive back-and-forth, she landed the Prettiest Moonsault Ever to pick up the win and walk out as champion.
Missing WrestleMania might have been a setback—but Tiffany Stratton didn’t stay there long. She turned that frustration into momentum and gold in a matter of days.
Do you think Tiffany Stratton’s WrestleMania snub ended up working in her favor, or should she have been on the card to begin with? Let me know your thoughts.
