Tiffany Stratton Wins WWE Women’s U.S. Title

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas featured Tiffany Stratton defeating Giulia to become the new WWE Women’s United States Champion.

This was Stratton’s first ever WWE Women’s United States Championship victory in her WWE career.

Paige Appears on SmackDown for 1st Time Since 2019

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Paige making her first appearance on the SmackDown brand since April of 2019.

Fatal Influence Surprise Appears & Joins SmackDown

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, & Lainey Reid).

During the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match between Paige & Brie Bella and Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss, Jayne ran out and attacked Paige. This led to Henley and Reid running out and all three proceeded to lay out Bella, Flair, and Bliss.

As the three celebrated and made their way to the back, Jayne revealed that they had officially joined the SmackDown brand and they would be running the Women’s division.

In a follow-up segment, Fatal Influence came out to interrupt WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley’s promo talking about her being a champion. This led to some back-and-forth banter between Fatal Influence and Ripley that ended with SmackDown GM Nick Aldis coming out and making a match between Ripley and Jayne to take place right now.

In another follow-up, Henley and Reid ran into the ring during Ripley’s match with Jayne and attacked her resulting in the referee calling for the bell. Fatal Influence continued their attack on Ripley laying her out and celebrated their actions.

Danhausen Curses The Miz Again

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured Danhausen cursing The Miz again.

During the show, videos were aired featuring Danhausen showing up at The Miz’s home and causing a ruckus with his antics leading to a match between made between the two for the show.

During their match, Danhausen rose up on the mat like The Undertaker and stated ‘you are cursed” as The Miz and Kit Wilson were taunting the fans while leaning on the ropes. This led to pyro going off where Miz and Wilson were standing causing both to fall down and Danhausen catching Miz in a roll-up for the pinfall victory. Following the match, an angry Miz chased Danhausen around the ring leading to Miz colliding with Wilson at ringside and Danhausen driving away on his Hausenmobile.

Blake Monroe Arrival Teaser Airs

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured a vignette airing hyping up the upcoming arrival of “The Glamour” Blake Monroe to the SmackDown brand.

Ricky Saints Arrival Teaser Airs

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured a vignette airing hyping up the upcoming arrival of Ricky Saints to the SmackDown brand.

It was announced that Saints will be making his official SmackDown debut at next week’s show.

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured one new match announced for the card of next week’s show on May 1st at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
