Tiger Robi Suffers from Tuberculosis, Hospitalised

Tiger Robi, Bangladesh cricket’s beloved “super fan,” recently made headlines during the second Test match between India and Bangladesh at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. Known for his tiger costume and spirited presence at cricket matches, Robi was carried out of the stadium on Day 1 after being visibly distressed.

Robi’s Sudden Health Crisis at the Stadium

Tiger Robi, who had also attended the first Test match of the series in Chennai, was rushed to the hospital after being seen in distress, pointing to his back in pain.

Eyewitnesses and video footage showed him being carried away by medical personnel, initially leading to rumours that he had been physically attacked.

However, Robi quickly refuted the claims, stating that he was unwell and his discomfort stemmed from his battle with Tuberculosis, which has left him weakened.

Initially thought to have been assaulted, Robi later clarified his condition was due to an illness.

It was later revealed that the fan is suffering from Tuberculosis (TB), a serious lung disease.

Robi’s presence at the match, even in his vulnerable health condition, highlights his dedication to supporting Bangladesh’s cricket team.

His sudden discomfort not only raised concerns about his health but also drew attention to the severity of his condition. Robi is currently receiving treatment in India, and his condition is being monitored closely.

Thankfully, after receiving medical care, Robi was discharged from the hospital and is reportedly recovering.
