TNA stacked Impact (May 28, 2026) with the Champions Challenge. Teams of champions wrestled teams of all-stars. If an all-star scores the win, then they will earn a title shot on the person they beat. At the end of the night, two title shots were earned. One was an unexpected underdog, and the other fits in the context of that storyline.
On the men’s side, champions Mike Santana, Mustafa Ali, Cedric Alexander, Brian Myers, & Bear Bronson wrestled all-stars Leon Slater, Elijah, Eric Young, Frankie Kazarian, & KC Navarro. In the end, Slater surged for a Swanton 450 on Ali. Alisha Edwards trifled on the pin by pulling Ali’s foot to the ropes. Tasha Steelz slid the national title to Ali. Slater ducked the cheap shot, and the referee snatched the foreign object. Slater took advantage to deliver a superkick to Ali’s mush. Slater did the unselfish thing by tagging in Navarro. KC surprised himself by pinning Ali off the Blessing in Disguise somersault reverse DDT.
On the women’s side, champions Lei Ying Lee, Heather by Elegance, & M by Elegance wrestled all-stars Xia Brookside, Elayna Black, & Mara Sade. Former UFC fighter Keith Jardine played a role in the finish. Mara knew funny business would be afoot from the Elegance Brand, so she requested Jardine to be in her corner. That invitation paid off when Mr. Elegance tried to cheat. Jardine stopped him with an ankle lock. The Personal Concierge took a crack to hit Jardine, and the MMA man felt no pain. Jardine forced the Personal Concierge to flee. Meanwhile, Mr. Elegance hooked Lee’s foot, and Brookside pinned her off a lifting DDT.
Navarro earned a future title bout for the TNA International Championship against Ali. Navarro is an underdog with lots of potential. Brookside earned a future title bout for the Knockouts Championship against Lee. This matchup is personal. Brookside betrayed her best friend to turn heel. Now, Lee can dish out payback.
