Tommy Dreamer may be gone from TNA creative, but plenty of people in that locker room are making it clear he mattered.
Dreamer’s departure already has fans talking about who might replace him, with Road Dogg’s name being discussed internally. But while the company figures out what comes next, several TNA names are taking a moment to thank Dreamer for what he did behind the scenes. Elayna Black made it clear Dreamer was one of the people who truly believed in her.
“Very few people believed in me the way @THETOMMYDREAMER did/does. Say what you want but he’s the man and loves the business. Love you Tommy!!! 🫶”
KC Navarro also gave Dreamer his flowers, thanking him for believing in him: “Thank you for believing in this kid with a Dream @THETOMMYDREAMER love you bro🙏🏽💯🩷” AJ Francis took it even further, saying his current TNA run would not have happened without Dreamer.
“You would never have TNAJ Francis w/o @THETOMMYDREAMER
I love this man and I wish him the best.”
That says a lot about Dreamer’s role in TNA. Fans may focus on the creative title, but people inside the company clearly saw him as more than just the guy helping put shows together. He was also someone who fought for talent, opened doors, and helped people get opportunities.
Dreamer revealed on Busted Open that he and TNA parted ways after a conversation with TNA President Carlos Silva. His exit came sooner than some expected, especially with Slammiversary right around the corner.
Now TNA has a big creative hole to fill, and names like Road Dogg are already being connected to the spot. But before the company turns the page, several wrestlers are making sure Dreamer gets credit for the people he helped along the way. Bottom line, Tommy Dreamer’s TNA exit is a major behind-the-scenes shakeup, but the reaction from talent shows he left with plenty of respect in the locker room.
