Top American performances at Bislett Games, June 10, 2026 – runblogrun

Oslo Diamond League is also known as the Bislett Games. Oslo, Norway, has hosted this amazing meet at the famous Bislett Stadium, which has hosted track and field meetings since 1924.

The modern Games have been held since 1965, when meet organizer Arne Haukvik renamed the meet the Bislett Games.

The top American performances from Oslo  Bislett 2026:

1. Cooper Lutkenhaus continues to astound. In a race between Cooper Lutkenhaus, the World Indoor Champion, and Emmanuel Wanyonyi, the Olympic champion, the race was an excellent one! Waynonyi made a move just at the finish, and Lutkenhaus held off the Olympic champion, 1:42.08 to 1:42.09!

2. Chase Jackson had a fantastic throw in Oslo! Throwing 20.74 meters, a massive Meet record for the Bislett Games and best throw by Chase for 2026. And of course, Chase did her huge throw on her first attempt!

   

3. Yared Nuguse, USA, has been winning some close ones. In Oslo, Timothy Cheruiyot, KEN, won the race, in a photo finish, with Yared Nuguse, both credited with the same time, 3:48.21. Hobbs Kessler, USA, was 4th in the mile, in 3:49.13!

   

4. Parker Wolfe led three Americans (Grant Fisher, Graham Blanks) in the 5,000 meters, taking 4th, 5th and sixth. Parker Wolfe ran a PB of 12:49.45. Grant Fisher ran 12:49.61 for fifth,  and Graham Blanks ran 12:49.99 for sixth.

   

5. Jasmine Jones, Tokyo World Champs silver medalist at 400m hurdles, took third in Oslo at 54.09.

   

6. Caleb Dean was third in the Men’s 400m hurdles, in 48.22!
7. Sam Kendricks was third in 5.72 meters in the Men’s pole vault. Zachary Bradford was 4th, on countback, with a jump of 5.72 meters!
