Tottenham Hotspur could move out of the Premier League relegation zone if they beat Aston Villa on Sunday evening.
The Lilywhites have endured a torrid campaign so far and currently occupy 18th place in the top flight standings, with both Wolves and Burnley below them having already been relegated to the Championship.
Roberto De Zerbi was appointed as Spurs manager last month following the departure of interim boss Igor Tudor, and the Italian has so far overseen one win and one draw from his three games in charge.
West Ham United’s dismal 3-0 defeat at the hands of Brentford on Saturday has given Tottenham hope, though, and means that victory at Villa Park on Sunday will lift De Zerbi’s side out of the bottom three.
Ahead of that match, however, it is has emerged that one of Spurs’ players is on the radar of his former club.
According to TEAMtalk, Everton are interested in re-signing forward Richarlison from Tottenham.

The report claims that the Toffees are keen to add attacking reinforcements to David Moyes’ squad, and it appears that Richarlison is on their radar.
The Brazil international joined Spurs from Everton in 2022, having scored 53 goals in 152 games for the Merseyside outfit.
Since arriving in north London, the attacker has netted 30 goals and provided 15 assists in 129 games for the Lilywhites.
It is claimed that Everton are actively monitoring the striker’s situation at Spurs, with his contract set to expire next summer.
Richarlison’s future could very much depend on whether or not Tottenham manage to avoid relegation to the Championship, with several key players likely to depart the club if they do drop down to the second tier.
The player himself would very much be open to the idea of a return to Everton, according to the report.
