The Packers had limited options to add difference-making players during the NFL Draft, after trading away their first-round pick to acquire Micah Parsons last summer, but general manager Brian Gutekunst may have found several contributors throughout draft weekend.
Dani Dennis-Sutton will likely have the chance to earn quality snaps in coordinator Jonathan Gannon’s pass rush rotation, before and after Parsons works his way back from a torn ACL.
Meanwhile, former South Carolina cornerback Brandon Cisse could be a plug-and-play starter in the secondary.

Packers’ Chris McClellan pick named best in class
Over at CBS Sports, veteran NFL analyst Pete Prisco put together his list of the best and worst picks made by every team across the league during the draft, including the Packers’ selection of defensive tackle Chris McClellan.
“Third-round defensive tackle Chris McClellan,” Prisco writes for CBS. “From Missouri is a tough, strong player who will give them some much-needed help inside.”

McClellan weighs in at 6-foot-4 and 323 pounds, and should push for snaps immediately during training camp this summer.
Last season, at Mizzou, McClellan posted a career-high 48 total tackles and could develop into a disruptive force along the interior for Green Bay, benefitting from the havoc and attention Parsons creates off the edge.
