Twins’ Byron Buxton rebounding following slow start to season

Following a slow start to the season, Minnesota Twins center fielder Byron Buxton has been on an offensive tear.

The Twins continue to be a public enemy for the Toronto Blue Jays, who suffered a 7-1 loss to them on April 30th.

Buxton hit his eighth home run of the season off Kevin Gausman, which gave them a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the sixth inning. He also went 3-for-4 in the game, dominating with his third game with three hits this season.

In his last 15 games, he has been red hot at the plate, batting .309 (21-for-68), with 10 RBI, a .347 OBP, and a 1.038 OPS.
