The entries are finally open for the biggest U19 Junior Badminton event of Warrington in 2025 which will be held in the Warrington Youth Zone! Children does not need to become a member, but can if they want.
We might have a nice amount of volunteers but are always on the lookout for enthusiasts/players/parents who can help, in any way, to make the competition a success!
The buffet might not be available at that time, please bring your own drinks and food with you. We are a respected community in the Youth Zone, and therefore I ask you to keep the sports hall as tidy as possible. Please clean up and put your rubbish away after yourself.
Date and timeframes…
28/06/2025 // Saturday // 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM for singles
28/06/2025 // Saturday // 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM for doubles
Please arrive 30 mins before the start time!
The groups are…
GROUP A: County players, anyone else have a ranking and grading with Badminton England, or regularly compete at Junior Leagues
GROUP B: Children who regularly train in a club environment and/or irregularly or not competing at Junior Leagues
GROUP C: Anyone who has no competitive experience and/or never attended training at a club/coach can enter
Details of the competition…
In all groups, 21 points with no setting in the groups stages, and then 21 points with settings in the knockout stages.
Entries must be consistent, if you enter GROUP A in singles, you have to enter the same group in doubles. Please choose wisely.
We will provide the shuttles to the games, there will be helpers for scoring where needed.
Parking…
There is a paid car park at the back of the building, or you can park at nearby locations at your own cost. As the building (Warrington Youth Zone) is in the heart of the town, so it is easy to approach with public transportation.
