UFC 328 WEIGH-IN, COUNTDOWN SHOW & PRESS CONFERENCE
Newark, NJ (May 8th, 2026)– The UFC 328 pre-fight press conference for Chimaev vs. Strickland took place on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, and it was a memorable one. The event was notoriously volatile, highlighted by a physical altercation where Khamzat Chimaev kicked Sean Strickland during their face-off.
During the final staredown, Chimaev launched a kick at Strickland, forcing security and Newark police to intervene and separate the two.
