Upcoming WWE House Shows Will Be More Affordable For Fans

Bryan Alvarez is reporting that a key selling point of WWE’s returning house show tour is that tickets will be significantly more affordable than what fans are currently paying to attend live television events.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Live, Alvarez said he was told the price point is a deliberate part of the positioning for the 2026 WWE Summer Tour. “The number one thing that I heard was the idea is that these are going to be much more affordable shows,” he said. “These will be more affordable shows. They’re not going to be TV tapings.”

To illustrate the contrast, Alvarez pointed to a message he received from a listener about Raw ticket prices. “My buddy Matthew says that tickets to Raw in Inglewood this summer, $460 for lower level, for a Raw show.”

Alvarez noted that the return has been welcomed not just by fans priced out of TV events but by wrestlers themselves, many of whom have missed the format.

“A lot of wrestlers really love doing house shows because they’re easier in the sense that you don’t have this rush of, ‘Oh my God, something got changed during the show. Our time got cut.’ You go out there, you have some fun. You have an easy match in front of fans. The people are super into it. It’s a fun thing to do, and a lot of wrestlers miss doing house shows.”

Alvarez also touched on the developmental value house shows bring for talent, arguing that the absence of regular live event work has slowed the progress of wrestlers called up to WWE’s main roster in recent years. He said the same pattern applies to AEW, where he observed that many performers who debuted in 2019 and 2020 have not meaningfully improved because of the limited number of dates they work.

WWE’s 2026 Summer Tour runs from July 11 through August 30 across 10 cities. Presale tickets open Tuesday, May 19 at 10am local. General on-sale begins Wednesday, May 20 at 10am local. Full event information is available at WWE.com/Events.
