USA Qualifies for Finals in All Four Junior World Team Events
– Florida Tennis

The U.S. qualified for the finals in all four premier junior team competitions – the 16-and-under Junior Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge and the 14-and-under ITF World Junior Tennis – with each team finishing first in its Qualifying group competition held April 15-17 at IGA Stadium in Montreal, Canada. 

The Qualifying rounds consisted of three days of round-robin play, with each matchup including two singles and one doubles match. The U.S. teams all went 3-0 in their respective round-robin groups. The matchup results for each of the American teams are below. Notably, the U.S. girls’ teams only lost one set in their combined 18 matchups, with the Junior Billie Jean King Cup Team going a perfect 18-0 in sets.

The USA will now compete in the Finals of the 16-and-under Junior Billie Jean King Cup and Davis Cup, which will be held later this year at a site and date to be confirmed, and the 14-and-under ITF World Junior Finals, held August 3-6 in Prostejov, Czechia.

The U.S. is the reigning champion in three of the four categories – Junior Billie Jean King Cup, Junior Davis Cup and World Junior Tennis Girls. The U.S. is the four-time reigning champion in Junior Billie Jean King Cup and two-time reigning champion in Junior Davis Cup after becoming the first nation to ever sweep those titles in consecutive years last year.

Overall, the U.S. girls have won 10 Junior Billie Jean King Cup titles (2008, 2012, 2014, 2017-19, 2022-25) and eight World Junior Tennis titles (1992, 2007-10, 2013, 2017, 2025). The U.S. boys have won five Junior Davis Cup titles (1999, 2008, 2014, 2024-25) and seven World Junior Tennis titles (2002-03, 2008, 2012, 2018, 2019, 2024).
