Almost 400 people have opted to ride out Hurricane Beryl in a hurricane shelter. Chief Education Officer Dr Ramona Archer-Bradshaw, in her capacity as Chief Shelter Warden, gave an update late last night from the National Emergency Operations Centre.

After tendering an apology to the public, acting CEO of the Barbados Water Authority, Keithroy Halliday, explained why their systems were taken offline during the passage of Hurricane Beryl.
