Wales team announcement LIVE: Steve Tandy names side for Barbarians clash as four handed debut

Wales coaches Steve Tandy and Sean Lynn have named their sides to face the Barbarians in London on Saturday.

This weekend sees Wales’ national teams take on the Baa-Baas in a double-header at the Allianz Stadium. Tandy’s men take on the famous club at 2pm, before Lynn’s women play at 5pm.

There’s few surprises in the side, as Tandy goes relatively full-strength for the uncapped match.

All of the squad are based in Wales, as Tandy continues to reintegrate his English-based players.

Dillon Lewis makes his first appearance for Wales in two years, while there’s a start for Teddy Williams after a lengthy injury lay-off.

Jac Morgan, while not captain, is also back in the starting side for the first time since Tandy’s first match in charge back in November.

On the bench, Rhys Barratt, Ben Warren, Ryan Woodman and Harrison Keddie are in line for their debuts.

Tandy will whittle down his squad after the clash with the Barbarians.

As for Lynn’s side, there are five uncapped players in the match-day squad.

Wings Amy Williams and Kelsey Webster, prop Stella Orrin, flanker Lucy Isaac and scrum half Lily Hawkins are the new faces in the side, while flanker Alisha Joyce makes her first start for Wales since the birth of her son Ralphie.

Having named his side, Tandy will face the media later this afternoon.
