Fife Flyers have confirmed the appointment of Tim Wallace as the club’s Head Coach for the 2026/27 season, bringing the former Nottingham Panthers bench boss back to the Elite League.
Wallace moved into coaching during the 2018/19 campaign in a player/coach role with Milton Keynes before later taking over as Head Coach of the Panthers, winning the Elite Series and coaching in the Elite League.
Most recently, he was Head Coach of the Milton Keynes Lightning in the NIHL. During his time there, Wallace helped guide the club to NIHL Cup success in the 2023/24 season while continuing in a player/coach capacity.
Speaking after his appointment was confirmed, Wallace said: “I’m really excited and grateful for the opportunity to join the Fife Flyers. This is a club with a proud history, a passionate fanbase, and huge potential. I’m here for what we can build. That’s the only reason that mattered to me, and I can’t wait to get to work.
“From my conversations with the club, it’s clear there’s a real hunger to move things forward and build something the supporters can be proud of. That starts with hard work, honesty, and the right culture every day. And the standard for all of it starts with the coach. That’s a responsibility I take on, and the kind of group I want to be part of.
“I am pumped to meet the players, staff and fans and do everything I can to help push this club in the right direction. I know what this club means to people. We’re only moving forward from here. See you at the rink.”
