West Indies great Ian Bishop gave praise on Indian star batter Sarfaraz Khan on his maiden Test century during the 1st Test match against New Zealand in Bengaluru. Sarfaraz came into India’s playing XI as Shubhman Gill got rested due to a problem in his neck.
Ian Bishop went on to ‘X’ to hail the Indian batter for his maiden century in the red-ball cricket.
Absolute delight for Sarfaraz Khan. Loved the way his teammates seemed to enjoy that first test century for him as much as he did. Never gave up and kept working.

Sarfaraz reached his century in the 57th over on Day 4. He sent the ball on the back foot for a four to reach the 100-run mark. As Sarfaraz reached his maiden Test ton, he took off his helmet and let the moment sink in.
Standing ovation for Sarfaraz and Pant.
