The Swede had previously had a career best of top-five finishes twice in 2025, but broke his DP World Tour duck with a two-shot victory in the 2026 Turkish Airlines Open.
Lindberg finished on 10-under par at The National Golf Club, two shots clear of Guido Migliozzi and Daniel Rodrigues, for what was his breakthrough victory.
Lindberg previously won twice on the Challenge Tour in the 2022 Indoor Golf Group Challenge and 2024 Bain’s Whisky Cape Town Open.
He also has five Nordic Golf League wins on his CV and one Swedish Golf Tour victory.
