Joe Hendry Written off TV After Logan Paul’s Injury?
Logan Paul and Joe Hendry are two YouTube stars on a collision course. However, their clash met a roadblock when Logan Paul injured his tricep on Saturday Night’s Main Event against The Street Profits.
Logan Paul’s Tag Team partner, Austin Theory, promised to seek revenge against anyone who has wronged The ImPAULsive host. His first victim was Joe Hendry. The Tag Team Champion took the singer/songwriter out with vicious chairshots.
Eventually, the Master of the A-Town Down leveled the Scot with a Conchairto to the ring post. Austin Theory warned Joe Hendry to keep Logan Paul’s name out of his mouth.
Week prior, Joe Henrdy and the arnea had been terrorizing The Maverick with serenades of “Can we fire Logan Paul?” These taunts continued this week on Raw, as Logan Paul made a surprise return before Joe Hendry did! Being off of TV seemingly bothers Joe Hendry, as he had some choice words for the Toronto Sun.
Logan Paul Returns to “Can We Fire Logan Paul” Serenade
Less than one month after his injury, Logan Paul returned to WWE TV on this past Monday’s Raw. The Humble One was met with a chorus from the Baltimore Crowd. They started singing Joe Hendy’s viral hit, “Can we fire Logan Paul?”
With one Tag Title over his shoulder and an arm brace on the other, Logan Paul soaked in the hatred. Meanwhile, Austin Theory plugged his partner’s ears to prevent him from hearing the hate.
While Joe Hendy is off TV, it seems like the crowd hasn’t forgotten him. Nonetheless, the former NXT Champion seems upset with being left off of Raw, including this weekend’s WWE UK tour.
Where Is Joe Hendry?
WWE has had a hard time fitting this new signee into main roster storylines. Much like many things involving The Vision, plans changed when Logan Paul got injured.
They went with Austin Theory becoming an avenger, perhaps, prematurely writing Joe Hendry off. After all, no one would’ve expected Logan Paul to return to TV so soon.
Joe Hendry joined The Toronto Sun to discuss WWE coming to the UK. The host promoted the Raw Superstar as part of the tour.
However, the Raw Superstar corrected him bluntly:
“I have to say…You said I would be part of the UK tour, but right now I am healing up, my friend. I was attacked by Austin Theory.
So, you know? It is what it is.”
As a Scottish Superstar, it would seem a shoo-in to have Joe Hendry on the card. However, WWE seems to be sticking to storylines by having the popular star sit this one out. That said, there are rumors that WWE is facing visa issues, and Joe Hendry might be affected.
Could Joe Hendry Have Visa Issues?
There are reports that WWE is facing some “significant visa issues.” Typically, work visas aren’t an issue for the TKO-owned company.
However, rising global hostilities have prompted the US government to tighten certain policies. As a result, there is chatter that WWE is having a lot of problems securing work visas for many AAA talent in Mexico to work in the States, too.
Joe Hendry is from Edinburgh, Scotland. WWE is currently traveling to the UK, so he would feel at home during the latest tour. However, returning might be an issue, especially if his work visa is close to expiring. Before signing with WWE, Joe Hendry worked for TNA. So, he could’ve already been on a work visa.
That said, WWE usually facilitates visa renewals or updates work forms when it brings international talent onto a contracted role. So, this seems more like a Creative decision than a visa issue for the Scottish talent.
