Arsenal reach their first Champions League title since 2006 and will look to win their first UCL title in their history. Last season, Arsenal reached the semifinals but lost to PSG over two legs.
This season, PSG reached the final after beating Bayern Munich in the semifinal over two legs. PSG defeated Bayern Munich 6-5 on aggregate.

PSG and Arsenal never played each other in a final, but played each other in the Champions League semifinal last season.
In the first leg, PSG defeated Arsenal 1-0 away from home at the Emirates Stadium with a goal from Ousmane Dembele. In the second leg, PSG defeated Arsenal 2-1 with goals from Fabian Ruiz and Achraf Hakimi, and the aggregate score was 3-1 to PSG.
