Ecuador vs Curaçao has become crucial for both teams following Germany’s 2-1 win over the Ivory Coast earlier today.
With Germany qualified for the knockout stages, Ecuador and Curaçao need to avoid defeat to remain alive in the 2026 World Cup. A loss for either team means they will be eliminated from the tournament, like Turkey and Haiti.
Both teams are on zero points, but Ecuador can top the group if they beat Curaçao tonight and beats Germany next week.
For the match tonight in the United States, Ecuador vs Curaçao will be on FS1 for the English commentary. Former USWNT player Lori Lindsey will be on the commentary team with play-by-play announcer JP Dellacamera.

This will be the second Ecuador game the commentary duo will work on for FOX. Dellacamera is covering the 18th World Cup of his career. Dellacamera worked on 11 men’s World Cups and 7 women’s World Cups in his career.
The commentary duo worked on other World Cup games besides Ecuador, which includes Uruguay vs Saudi Arabia and Ghana vs Panama.
