May 22’s WWE SmackDown didn’t disappoint for fans in Rupp Arena at Central Bank Center in Lexington, Kentucky. With so much coming up in WWE, fans saw some news break on the show.
Rhea Ripley is still WWE Women’s Champion after WrestleMania, but that put a big target on her. She also isn’t backing down from a fight.
The Nightmare opened up this week’s SmackDown, and she immediately called out Jade Cargill. After all, Cargill made it very clear that she wanted a piece of Rhea Ripley, and that title around her waist once again.
Rhea Ripley then confirmed that she’s not backing down from a fight. In fact, she booked the title match against Jade Cargill at Clash in Italy.
WWE’s first premium live event in the country, Clash in Italy, will take place on Sunday, May 31, 2026. The event will be hosted at the Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy. Only time will tell if we see a title change, but Jade Cargill and Rhea Ripley will present one impressive WrestleMania rematch.
