On tap for today’s episode, a lot of this is going to deal with fallout from WWE Night of Champions. After all, Oba Femi defeated Jey Uso to win the King of the Ring tournament and has to make his decision about whether he’ll choose to challenge the new Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn over on SmackDown or do what I’m assuming he’ll do, which is to stick to Monday Night Raw and challenge Roman Reigns. Reigns is supposed to be on this show, so a confrontation between the two seems imminent.
There should be more on Iyo Sky beating Liv Morgan to win Queen of the Ring as well, since she’s already challenged Morgan. We’ve got some weeks to burn through before SummerSlam, so how is that feud going to roll out and how will that continue to tell the story of the tension within The Judgment Day with Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Roxanne Perez?
Speaking of The Judgment Day, JD McDonagh went from electrocuted by Danhausen to facing Chad Gable, who is in the midst of a push. Gable will win and continue his path toward I’m assuming the Intercontinental Championship, meaning he could be interacting again with folks like Penta, Ethan Page, Rusev, Je’Von Evans, Dragon Lee, and others surrounding that title.
I’d expect some more follow-up with The Vision regarding Bron Breakker’s loss to Seth Rollins at NOC, as well as how they lost the world tag team titles last Monday night to The Street Profits. Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford are up, so who wants the smoke to become the next challengers for the tag team titles going forward?
