Golf dot Com just sent out one of the dumbest email subject lines ever: “You can’t play golf in the rain, but you CAN join INSIDEGOLF today!!”
I am pretty sure I don’t want to join an organization that thinks you can’t play golf in the rain.
Of COURSE you can play golf in the rain. Lots of us do. I’ve had some great rounds in the rain.

If you can’t play golf in the rain, it would never have caught on in Scotland, where the wettest parts get as much as 250 days of rain each year.
Bandon has 148 days of rainfall each year. They don’t close the courses for a third of the calendar.
If you can’t play golf in the rain, why does every apparel manufacturer sell rain gear? Why does every shoe brand promote its waterproofing? (yes, dew is a thing, but that’s only for us dewsweepers).
My guess is that the email was written by an intern who doesn’t actually play golf.
