After a mighty struggle, and a return to its original ownership, YT Industries continues to grow in its comeback effort. The German direct-to-consumer brand’s latest move? Returning to the Canadian market.
YT’s Canadian site quietly closed last fall, around the same time the brand’s U.S. wing closed. While the U.S. market got support again earlier this year, Canadian customers, but current and potential, we’re left waiting.
Now, YT’s announced it is returning to Canada. This time, instead of being a wing of European or U.S. operations, Canada has its own “dedicated partner.” That partner will handle service and warranty issues for existing customers as well as distribution of bikes, parts and, eventually, soft goods. There’s already a good inventory of parts and accessories and some bikes, like the new Avinox M2 equipped Decoy, are already scheduled to arrive.
