Zelina Vega Already Taking Wrestling Bookings After WWE Release

Zelina Vega is already making moves following her WWE release — and she just sent a very clear message about what comes next.

After being released as part of WWE’s latest wave of post-WrestleMania roster cuts, Vega took to Twitter on May 11, 2026, to officially announce that she is now accepting outside bookings. In a short but direct post, Vega shared booking contact information and made it clear she is immediately preparing for the next chapter of her career.

“🚨 🚨 For bookings: [email protected]

Shortly after news of the release broke, Vega addressed the situation during a Twitch stream and admitted the decision caught her completely off guard. She explained that there were no backstage warning signs beforehand and revealed she only realized what was happening after seeing “TKO” appear on her phone instead of the usual WWE Stamford caller ID.

“When people call me, usually from there it would say Stamford calling me, and that’s when your heart is like, ‘Oh f***.’ But this time it said TKO. 5:09 PM is when I found out.”

Vega also made it clear that while she understands the business side of wrestling, she believes there was still much more left for her to accomplish creatively.

“I don’t hold any bad feelings—I understand business is business. However, business is business on my side as well. I don’t even think they expect what’s next. Wrestling isn’t the only screen you’ll see me on.”

She later suggested there were major character ideas and creative directions planned that WWE never fully allowed her to explore.

“It was like, if you would’ve let Zelina be Zelina the way we had envisioned for this new character, y’all would have f*****ing loved it because we had so many things we wanted to do.”

Now, with Vega officially opening herself up for independent bookings, it appears she is wasting absolutely no time rebuilding momentum outside WWE. Given her popularity, promo ability, and crossover appeal beyond wrestling, many fans already expect Vega to become one of the most talked-about free agents on the market moving forward.

Do you think Zelina Vega will thrive more outside WWE, or did the company let her go too soon? Leave your thoughts and feedback below.
