60 Cards Available in Packs

60 Cards Available in Packs

The Team of the Season campaign in EA Sports FC 26 has officially entered its final week, and EA Sports closed it out the right way. Ultimate TOTS is now live, and it brings every single one of the best TOTS cards from across the entire cycle together into one pool. Sixty items in packs at the same time.

That is the number that matters most right now, and if you have been holding packs or saving coins for the right moment all season, this is it.

This is how the TOTS campaign works every year. EA Sports spends weeks releasing individual league squads, women’s selections, community picks, and fan votes one at a time.

Each squad gets its window, then cycles out. Ultimate TOTS is the exception. It gathers the very best players from every release and keeps them all in packs simultaneously. One massive pool. One final window. The last meaningful content push before FC 26 starts winding down toward the end of its cycle.

Every 97-Rated Card Is Back

One of the headline details about this release is that every 97-rated player from the previous TOTS squads has made it into Ultimate TOTS. That means Luka Modrić, Harry Kane, Bruno Fernandes, Vitinha, and Lamine Yamal are all in packs right now. Five players sitting at the absolute ceiling of what FC 26 Ultimate Team produces this season, all available at the same time.

Modrić getting a 97 is a statement.

He is playing in the Saudi Pro League now, and EA Sports still looked at his season and gave him the highest rating in the drop alongside players who are in the middle of Champions League campaigns. Kane earns his place after continuing to be one of the most reliable scorers in Europe, regardless of the team around him.

Vitinha has been quietly brilliant for PSG all season and fully deserves that 97. And Lamine Yamal at 97 remains one of those cards where you look at the rating, then look at his age, and just shake your head. He is still a teenager and he is sitting at the top of the most prestigious TOTS release of the year.

The 96-Rated Depth Is Absurd

Below the 97 tier, the depth of this squad across the 96 ratings is genuinely exciting. Lionel Messi at 96. Kylian Mbappé at 96. Erling Haaland at 96. Declan Rice at 96. Michael Olise at 96 after one of the standout individual seasons in the Premier League this year.

These are names that would anchor any TOTS squad on their own, and they are all sharing a pool with João Félix, Pedro González, Marco Asensio, and Federico Dimarco.

Then there are the cards that make TOTS genuinely worth caring about for reasons beyond the obvious ones. Hayden Hackney at 96 OVR is a name that would have raised eyebrows before the season started, but his performances earned it.

Joey Veerman at 96. Mamadou Sangaré at 96. Nicolás Paz at 96. These are players whose real-life form carried them into a conversation most would never have predicted them joining, and their cards are sitting in the same pool as Messi and Ronaldo right now.

That is what makes TOTS fun in a way that other promos simply are not.

Cristiano Ronaldo comes in at 95, which feels almost strange to type given the conversation around his Saudi career, but the card exists, and it will be one of the most sought-after pulls of the week regardless.

The Women’s Selections Deserve More Attention

The women’s side of this release is stacked in a way that does not always get the attention it deserves. Khadija Shaw leads the women’s selections at 97 OVR after a season that made her one of the most dominant strikers in the women’s game this year. Klara Bühl is at 97 alongside Claudia Pina Medina.

And then there are Tabitha and Temwa Chawinga, both sitting at 97 OVR in the same squad. Two sisters from Malawi, both at the peak rating in the release. That storyline alone deserves a longer conversation than it usually gets.

Alexia Putellas and María Caldentey both come in at 96. Manaka Matsukubo earns a 96-rated CAM card. Manuela Giugliano, Sakina Karchaoui, Melchie Dumornay, Maya Le Tissier, and Georgia Stanway are all at 95. The range and quality across the women’s selections in this release make it one of the better-represented Ultimate TOTS drops the game has produced.

Why the Fodder Window Is the Real Story for Most Players

Packing Messi or Yamal this week would be an incredible moment, but the truth is that most players are not going to pull the headline names. The odds have not dramatically changed just because Ultimate TOTS is live.

What has changed is the volume of high-rated items sitting in the general pool, and that has a real and meaningful effect on how the rest of the game plays out this week.

When 60 TOTS items are in packs simultaneously, the number of 90-plus rated cards entering the market rises sharply. Prices on high-rated fodder tend to soften because supply goes up. Players who have been sitting on thousands of coins waiting for this moment can suddenly stretch that budget further than they could a week ago.

And anyone grinding through Squad Building Challenges right now is in a much better position to pack the fodder they need rather than buying it at peak prices.

The Salah SBC Is the Biggest Reason to Be Grinding Right Now

The most demanding SBC currently live in FC 26 is the End of an Era Mohamed Salah challenge. It requires completing 36 separate squads, and the total fodder cost sits at around 1.2 million coins at current market rates.

That is a significant ask by any measure. But the reward is one of the most iconic special cards in the game this cycle, and the Salah SBC also hands out an End of an Era Andrew Robertson item as one of the 36 squad rewards along the way.

The reason this matters during Ultimate TOTS specifically is that 90-plus rated players are more accessible this week than at almost any other point in the season.

You are more likely to pack them, and the ones on the market are cheaper because more of them are flowing through. Over the course of 36 squads’ worth of requirements, that makes the whole thing considerably more realistic for players who have been putting it off.

The Last Big Week of FC 26

There is a bigger picture here that goes beyond pack odds and market prices. Ultimate TOTS is the closing chapter of the FC 26 content cycle. EA Sports will keep the game running after this, but the major promotional content that defines each year is essentially finished once this week ends.

The conversation starts shifting toward what FC 27 looks like, and FC 26 slowly becomes the game people played rather than the game people are playing.

The squad you put together this week is probably as good as your FC 26 club is ever going to look. Sixty of the best cards of the entire season are sitting in packs right now.

The market is moving, the SBC opportunities are real, and the window is not going to be open for long. Whether you are going deep on packs, working through the Salah SBC, or just picking up a few pieces on the market to round out your squad before the season ends, this is the week to do it.
