Here is what Nick Khan had to say about WWE and its love story with London
Triple H pointed out that WWE has an old love story with London and the city has hosted quite a few remarkable PLE’s over the years. The 1992 SummerSlam witnessed Wembley Stadium emerging as the host and the fans were absolutely delighted to witness their favourite wrestlers first hand. Recently, WWE has been trysting heavily with UK as NXT has had quite a few shows there while the last edition of the Clash at the Castle saw Drew McIntyre headline the event.
WWE President, Nick Khan pointed out that definitely further talks were needed but at this point in time, it all looks very promising. Nick said, “Sadiq Khan and his team are working hard on positioning London as a sport and entertainment capital of Europe, and it has been great to hear more on his vision for how WWE can support them on that journey.”
