It was a honour to welcome James Squire, His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation, to the Great Britain locker room ahead of tonight’s game with Switzerland.
He spoke to the GB players and staff pre-game, explaining how this was his first live game of ice hockey in-person.
The Ambassador wished everyone the best of luck which was greeted by cheers and applause by the team.
On Wednesday evening, the Ambassador invited members of the Great Britain and Ice Hockey UK management to dinner in Zurich.
