ROTTERDAM, Netherlands — Two of the most dangerous heavyweights in kickboxing are on a collision course this summer.

Antonio Plazibat will face Anis Bouzid at GLORY Collision 9 on June 13 at the Rotterdam Ahoy.

With both fighters ranked in the top four, the bout could have major implications for the GLORY heavyweight title picture.

Plazibat’s Comeback Gains Momentum

After spending over two years sidelined due to injury, Plazibat returned in dominant fashion late last year, dismantling Nordine Mahieddine over three rounds.

Now fully back in form, the Croatian powerhouse has his sights set on championship gold.

“My goal is the GLORY heavyweight title and Anis Bouzid is just another fighter in my way,” stated Antonio Plazibat. “At COLLISION 9, I make a statement that Antonio Plazibat is the most dangerous heavyweight in GLORY.”

Bouzid Brings Knockout Power and Momentum

Bouzid, known as “Takamura,” enters with serious momentum after earning GLORY’s 2025 Breakout Fighter of the Year honors.

His recent run includes a stunning 30-second knockout victory over Nathan Cook — a performance that quickly elevated his status in the division.

With a record of 49-5 and 37 knockouts, Bouzid presents a dangerous test for anyone — including Plazibat.

A Fight With Title Implications

Ranked No. 3 and No. 4 respectively, this matchup isn’t just about bragging rights.

It’s a potential title eliminator in a division currently ruled by Mory Kromah, who will defend his heavyweight belt against Milos Cvjeticanin on the same card.

That means the winner of Plazibat vs Bouzid could be next in line.

More Action Set for Collision 9

The June 13 event is already shaping up as one of the biggest kickboxing shows of the year.

Also announced:

  • Bahram Rajabzadeh will compete in an eight-man, one-night Grand Prix to crown a new light heavyweight champion
