Argentina Roster for 2026 World Rugby Junior Championship

Los Pumitas are locked and loaded for the 2026 World Rugby Junior Championship. Argentina’s u20’s team will compete at the upcoming tournament in Georgia to crown the champion at the level recognized by the governing body below the Senior Men’s.

Argentina will be taking a roster of 30 players to compete in the tournament in Georgia. The roster will train together at Casa Pampas in Buenos Aires on June 15-19. The players come from provincial unions from around the country with Buenos Aires being the leading contributor with 12 players.

Los Pumitas’ three pool matches will all take place in Tbilisi. The competition gets underway on June 27 and concludes on July 18. Argentina will compete in the pool stage on June 27 against the USA, July 02 against Ireland and July 07 against England. The Semi Finals will be on July 13 and the final on July 18.

The 2026 edition of the World Rugby Junior Championship is an expanded format. There will be sixteen teams with them divided into four pools of four. The winners of each group will advance directly to the Semi Finals. The teams places second in each pool will battle it out for 5th to 8th places. Similarly, those who finish third will compete to finish 9th to 12th and the bottom sides per pool will be involved in matches to determine 13th to 16th.
