As previously reported, WWE planned to conduct rehearsals for the WrestleMania 42 matches earlier than usual, although the reasons for this change were not disclosed.
According to Fightful Select, sources indicated that several matches were scheduled to rehearse on April 15th, with the Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match specifically mentioned as one of the bouts on Wednesday. However, due to the number of matches, it is unlikely that all of them could have rehearsals on that day. The preparations for rehearsing the matches are expected to continue throughout the rest of the week.
The report also stated that several live appearances did not have a “firm time” set until a few weeks ago, as WWE anticipated this to be one of their busiest promotional periods ever in an effort to boost late ticket sales.
WWE WrestleMania 42 is set to take place on Saturday, April 18th, and Sunday, April 19th, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event will be broadcast live on ESPN Unlimited in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.
