Becca Book is on a roll. Less than a month after winning the 735-mile Cross-Washington MTB Race in just 3 days 19 hours— a new women’s FKT by 23 hours!—she’s won this year’s Bon Jon Pass Out race.
She reported: “Beautiful weekend for crossing the Olympics the 3rd and 4th time in the last six weeks! The Bon Jon course lapped the 3,000-foot-high pass twice in 80 miles. It was cooler than riding out here in late afternoon, a lot more sunshine than when I came over this pass around 9 pm during the Cross-Washington MTB Race, and the rhododendrons were blooming this time! I used the chance to appreciate the scenery riding my Otso Waheela R, still in ultra comfy ultra racing set up, and take a break between all the wedding prep. Gravel Unravel put on a really good show, with so many volunteers out and making us fresh sandwiches!”
Congratulations, Becca!
