Best Toxapex Stats, Moves, Natures, and Abilities in Pokémon Champions

Toxapex is a Pokemon that is rarely used but one that should get more consideration, as it can be one of the best stall Pokemon in Pokemon Champions.

Here are two suggested builds. One will be the main meta build and the other an off-meta option.

Build 1: Full Wall Toxapex

This build focuses on the more meta build with the extreme survivability of Toxapex on display.

  • Move 1: Baneful Bunker
  • Move 2: Toxic
  • Move 3: Recover
  • Move 4: Wide Guard

Nature: Bold (+Def | – Atk) Ability: Regenerator

Best Stat Point Spread:

  • HP – 32
  • Sp. Def – 32
  • Def – 2

Build 2: Last Stand Toxapex

This version focuses on making sure that when Toxapex is the last one standing, it is able to outlast opponents and keep them trapped on the field.

  • Move 1: Wide Guard/Baneful Bunker (This depends on if you are more afraid of Earthquake or Earth Power)
  • Move 2: Toxic
  • Move 3: Recover
  • Move 4: Infestation

Nature: Bold (+Def | – Atk) Ability: Regenerator

Best Stat Point Spread:

  • HP – 32

Best Items for Toxapex in Pokémon Champions

  • Build 1 Best Item: Leftovers/Sitrus Berry
  • Build 2 Best Items: Leftovers/Sitrus Berry

As always with Leftovers/Sitrus Berry it depends on if you need Leftovers on another Pokemon but it is the premier choice. Watch out for Knockoff
Tyranitar.

Best Pokémon Synergies to Pair with Toxapex in Pokémon Champions

Toxapex benefits from teammates that can dish out damage and potentially even keep it alive longer as Toxic and Infestation do their jobs.

  • Incineroar:
Provides Intimidate and positioning support. Generally considered to be the best Pokemon in the current Meta.
  • Kingambit:
Generally a Pokemon that is run in Trick Room which can be perfect for Toxapex. Toxapex can also protect it with Wide Guard.
  • Sinistcha: Another great support option that can redirect attacks with Rage Powder and help stay on the field against Pokemon with Earthquake.

Potential Counters for Toxapex in Pokémon Champions

Toxapex is vulnerable to Electric, Psychic & Ground Pokemon and can be walled off by Steel Pokemon.

  • Garchomp: Is a very meta Pokemon that can easily knock out even a fully stated Toxapex quickly if you do not have Wide Guard.
  • Archaludon:
Not being able to use Toxic hinders Toxapex immensely and in Rain teams, Electro Shot can be a major issue.
  • Delphox:
This Pokemon is extremely fast and can easily two-shot Toxapex with whatever Psychic move it brought with it.

Teams that have plenty of Steel Types or Psychic can ruin Toxapex’s entire stall strategy.
