Big Damo Signs Contract with MLW

Major League Wrestling announced that they have recently signed Big Damo, former Killian Dain in WWE, to an official contract with the company.

It was also announced that Big Damo will be making his official debut appearance for the company at their MLW Fusion tapings on May 9th in Chattanooga, Tennessee.


Zilla Fatu vs. Lance Anoa’i for HOG Crown Jewel Title Announced for May 1st HOG Glory At The Globe

House of Glory recently announced one new match for the card of their Glory At The Globe event on May 1st at The Globe Theater in Los Angeles, California.

This new match announced was HOG Crown Jewel Championship match of Lance Anoa’i vs. Zilla Fatu (c).

Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

The Hollywood Reporter reported that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Stephen Merchant are adapting the “Fighting With My Family” biopic into a stage musical. This film was released in 2019 and was based on the life and wrestling career of WWE talent Paige.

All Japan Pro Wrestling announced that they have recently pulled Jun Saito from the remainder of this year’s Champion Carnival tournament due to him suffering an orbital floor fracture injury at their April 18th Champion Carnival 2026 event in Nagoya, Japan.

TKO Group announced that they have recently signed a multi-year deal with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Baku City Circuit Operations Company (BCC) to run one UFC Fight Night event per year in Azerbaijan through 2028. It was announced that this new deal officially starts with UFC’s upcoming event on June 27th in the country.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported in a recent Q&A article that the reason why David Benoit, son of the late Chris Benoit, has not pursued a pro wrestling career despite showing interest in the past was due to him not really progressing during the brief time he trained at Lance Storm’s wrestling school. Those spoken to at the time reportedly stated that Benoit was not there for long nor did it seem like a pro wrestling career was going to be his future. Sapp reported that while anything is possible, it does not seem likely that Benoit will be following his father’s footsteps to pursue an in-ring career. Sapp also reported that Benoit has always been welcome when he attends AEW and WWE shows and he seems to enjoy them.

PRODUCE announced that they have recently signed Game Changer Wrestling and indies talent Cole Radrick to a multi-fight contract with the company. It was also announced that Radrick will be making his official debut appearance for the company at their debut event on June 29th in Brooklyn, New York.

Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling recently announced one new match for the card of their YES! Wonderland 2026 event on May 4th in Tokyo, Japan:

ACTION Wrestling recently announced two new matches for the card of their 8th Anniversary event on April 24th in Tyrone, Georgia:
