Big E’s WWE Status Following Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods Exits

Big E isn’t going anywhere — even after the shocking departures of Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods left major questions about the future of The New Day.

Following emotional reactions online and speculation from fans wondering if Big E could be next, a new update from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select says WWE fully expects him to remain part of the company moving forward.

According to the report, Big E is still expected to continue appearing on WWE’s monthly Kickoff shows, where he has become a major part of the presentation.

“After speaking with sources familiar with the production of the monthly WWE Kickoff shows, Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that it is believed that Big E will remain a part of the Kickoff shows as he has been.”

The update comes after fans immediately started questioning Big E’s future once Kingston and Woods officially left WWE following failed contract restructuring talks under the TKO system. But internally, WWE apparently still sees Big E as an important figure for the company outside the ring as well.

“Big E is viewed internally as a valuable presence and is seen as a key reason for the kickoff show’s success.”

Now, while Kingston and Woods are set to be free agents and already generating speculation about a possible move to All Elite Wrestling, Big E’s position appears much more stable under the WWE banner.

Even without an in-ring return currently in sight, WWE clearly still values what he brings to the company on camera and behind the scenes.

Do you think Big E should stay with WWE in his current role, or would you rather see him reunite with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods somewhere down the line? Let us know your thoughts below.
