The Indiana Fever are back to work, with Caitlin Clark and the rest of the team kicking off training camp on Sunday. Naturally, there was plenty of excitement surrounding Indiana after an eventful free-agency period.
Indiana brought back Kelsey Mitchell, Lexie Hull, Sophie Cunningham and Damiris Dantas in free agency. To further make sure Clark and Aliyah Boston have the support they need, the Fever added the likes of Monique Billings, Ty Harris, Shatori Walker-Kimbrough and Myisha Hines-Allen.
During the 2026 WNBA Draft, the team selected Raven Johnson, Justine Pissott and Jessica Timmons.
Kayana Traylor and Megan McConnell also signed training camp contracts with the Fever, bringing the team’s roster to 16 players, including second-year forward Makayla Timpson.

Unsurprisingly, Clark turned a lot of heads on the first day of training camp, as she showed her elite passing to her new Fever teammates.
One of the highlights of the Fever’s practice was Clark’s one-handed catch, which she quickly turned into an incredible assist to Hines-Allen.
The Fever were so impressed by what she did that they even shared a slow-motion video of the play on social media.
“CC one-handed catch & pass,” the Fever wrote in the caption of the post.
Fans were full of praise for Clark as well, with one supporter even saying, “Well she is the best passer in the WNBA and it’s not even remotely close.”
“CC out there doing CC things,” a commenter wrote. Another one said, “Best PG in the league.”
“My gosh, I miss seeing her play!! So much!!” a follower added.
“OMGGGGGG THIS IS CRAZY MAN,” a poster stated.
A sixth fan shared, “CC is back hallelujah.”
Clark played only 13 games in the past WNBA season due to a groin injury and a bone bruise. Fortunately, she was able to recover well this offseason and even joined Team USA for the FIBA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Tournament last March.
Clearly, Clark is back to her dominant self, raising optimism for a bigger season for the Fever.
